Would you believe Cut n Dry Felt?

okay, in the last couple of weeks I have extolled the virtues of Cut n Dry foam and how much I love the product. Well, I think I'm more in love with the Cut N Dry felt and making custom ink pads. How cool is it to have a perfectly colored pad to make lage batches of stamped images? Colored stamped images?... way cool!
The above card was made by cutting a piece of Cut N Dry felt the size of the stamp. Then stamping on the felt side using a permanent ink. I used Stazon. Next use the lines of the image and "trace" with dye reinkers. I used mostly Ancient Page dye inks. To stamp, center stamp over the custom pad and stamp images on a sheet of plain card stock. It takes about five or six stampings before the ink is well blended. Next stamp in desired card stock and finish card as desired.

Gorgeous card and great technique. I'll have to look for that felt.

wonderful card - I just love that technique....I love the cut N dry foam too, did you know that you can stamp on the grey backing and then use that as the stamp to get a reverse image....just learnt this myself from Kristy/Brayergirl and it works brilliantly!
