Wild Side

Recently, while in a class, I asked students what would they like to see in future classes and one resounding theme was cards for men. Boy can I relate! So I set about planning a masculine themed class call My Guy. I will be posting several of these cards in hopes to inspire others to create cards worthy for those guys we love.
This card features some great stamps from Art Impressions. If you haven't visited Art Impressions lately, do so. They have a fairly new line call Wilderness that even though I'm a suburb gal, I love. Here is a look http://www.artimpressions.com/ListProds.asp?Cat=Wilderness&SubCat=Images+of+Nature

Directions All stamps by Art Impressions
------------------------------------------
Attach solid card stock to card front

On husk panel stamp mountain and trees in Stazon Saddle Brown ink.

On husk scraps stamp bear and quote in Stazon Timber Brown

To the mountain and sky apply Distress weathered wood and tattered rose with a baby wipe, smearing and dabbing. Apply Distress peeled paint to the lower part of the card with a baby wipe in a downward slant motion, also dab lightly on trees. Smudge edges with cocoa cat eye, attach to card front

Apply Distress brushed corduroy to the bear and scattered straw to the background. Tear edge by gripping paper and tearing away. Smudge edges with cocoa cat eye. Turn piece over and rub brushed corduroy on opposite corners. Insert two brads and attach to card front.

Smudge edge of quote with cocoa cat eye and mat (offset) with blue. Attach to card front with glue dots

Fab card for a man or anyone saying that! And thank you for the instructions on how to re-create it.
