I'm always in search of card designs for those worthy guys in our lives. I must admit producing a card for a guy comes hard to me as, well, I'm not a guy! LOL So to challenge myself I've been trying to work on this sadly lack area of my stamping. All images for this card are by DP Artworks, http://www.dpartworks.net/ a local Oklahoma stamp maker. And one of the things about DPA that I really enjoy are the many quote stamps like the Tennyson quote I used in this design. When making cards I like to use quotes to express my thoughts without making a card for a specific purpose, like a birthday. Then a card can be quickly pressed into service by stamping or writing the appropriate message on the inside.The papers used for this card is from the Old World mat stack by DCVW. I particularly love the smallest pad 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" for card making as I'm left with almost no lefts overs and the designs are the perfection proportion for small scale designs.
